2 years 4 million for Torey Craig is a steal, and leads me to believe MPJ truly sitting this season. I think thats the best route. Torey shouldve been starting over Chandler last year for his defense alone

I think even if MPJ comes back he should play mostly 4.
Monte/Beasley/Craig/MPJ/Plumlee should be good on offense and defense. See if you can get a first for lyles.
But yeah great deal for Craig. Wish we could’ve got a third year on it.

I like Lyles and I bet a team with a better coach could maximize his potential, but Vanderbiit gotta be the PF priority of the future, if he can play this season. Im hoping theyre planning on making him Millsaps heir because from the limited sample size Ive seen he looks like he could do wonders covering for Jokic on defense

Definitely. He looks like a better passing/ball handling faried on offense. Would fit perfectly into that finisher role faried played next to Jokic during that insane offensive run 2 years ago. But he looks like he could guard 1-5 well.
Not sure how far the nuggets can go with Jamal Murray.
Dude is just not a good defender at all. He can score the ball tho.

Yeah, I was hoping Monte was going to get a real shot at the backup PG spot. I’m wondering how IT is going to impact team chemistry this year. I could see him being a real asset and/or a liability.

Yeah. For the minimum it’s worth that risk tho. Worst case scenario, he’s unhappy, complaining and you just cut him. Monte Will still be around.
