Maybe it's me but I haven't played a beat em up this slow since... Streets of Rage. Had to change to Adam because Axel is sloooowwwww. Or maybe I'm used to beat em ups where you could run

Yeah that's what I dont like about this game, you cant run.
All SOR 3 characters can run
shyt is wildly overrated and sometimes can get in the way when it happens by accident

To get the trophy “complete all levels with SOR 1/2/3 character” do I have to pick the same exact character for all levels?

I'm getting better. It seems that the game wants me to use the special in combos. I was avoiding using them because I didn't want to use the mechanic and lose health. But if you continue the combo without getting hit you regain health.
