What's strange is you trying to conflate his sentencing to the struggles black people face in the legal system.
The statistics show that we are targetted at a disproportionate rate, the statistics show that people are more likely to use excessive force when aprehending us. The studies show that we are punished more severely for like for like crimes. Pointing out the inequalities that exists should not open the discussion to showing leniency towards an 18 year old man whose disregard for human life resulted in the death of a mother and her child.
I’m glad ur capable of actual conversation, but no one is conflating anything. I’m saying our first instinct as black ppl shouldn’t be to chose barbarism the way whites do.
I’m not even sure how you interpreted my comments into the garbage you wrote above as me conflating whites and blacks experiences in the legal system. You can fukk off trying to shift the goal posts to steer away from the fact that you came in here like an insane person instead of actually trying to have a conversation.
We're looking at a singular issue in a singular situation and asking is this really the best way to handle this. What does it accomplish to throw an 18 year old in our shytty system until he's 40? Is there a better way to handle this? Pay attention and use your reading comprehension a little better please.
Once again if your first instinct is to pound the table for blood what you makes you any better than them? You can act like those monsters if you want, I’d rather not be like them
