Why jump from one extreme to another? Yes, SFV was released incomplete, but AE will be way more robust than any SF launch title...which is why i was saying that saying AE is what SFV should've been at launch is retarded...point me to a launch SF title that has stacks of content or a fully realised fighting system?Expecting nothing from Capcom is different from expecting the status quo. At launch SFV we got 16 characters, under 10 stages, 2 barebones modes, no story mode, no trials mode.
MKX launched with 24 characters (with distinct fighting styles that basically make them more than 24 characters), substantial story mode, several arcade modes, krypt, interactive stages and faction mode. NRS is the king of singleplayer content for fighting games nowadays so I know the bar is set high there but it shouldn't be unrealistic to expect Capcom to compete
SFV was given to us incomplete, and clearly so. They rushed it out so they could cash out on CPT and DLC. It works out for the hardcore/pro players who was gonna play any SF game they can get their hands on because that's their income, and new games usually mean new money, but for everybody else it's just annoying.
People jump back and forth between giving too many passes to expecting too much
