MK is too fast paced to not have a block button. Playing against teleport characters at the speed of Raiden/Scorpion/Kung Lao would be damn near impossible.

It's a different game. No need for the back-to-block snobbery lol...

I love them all. Played MK the most in the arcade. Played SF most on console. Big KI fan and have the X1 version. Big fan of first 3 Tekkens and Virtua.
Used to play nikkas for money on Virtua and MK in the cade.

SF had so many gully versions though. They didnt make any wack ones. I am even a fan of the SF: Movie game even though I know a lot of people are like

SF. MK weak as fukk, especially the new ones. Don't like the physics/the way the overall game plays or feels. fukk a block button in a 2d fighting game. Love MK 1-3 for nostalgia.

Sagat is not in SFV and is why I will never ever play it, even though I don't main Sagat. It's the principal. Put that nikka in the game. He was in the first SF, for fukk's sake.

Only thing that MK had on SF was the block button. If you held the block button during fatalities and charge moves, you would never move out of position or accidentally hit your opp
