I don't see this lack of respect for hip hop or acting like he not part of it or not black like you do that's the thing.

I think of it more like he talking to these rappers more than regular folks in the verses. If it was, then I'd argue against him not saying much about any institutions in America.

I also don't see a problem with using that imagery because he's making a point of it like the cotton being used to make KKK hoods. He's admittedly saying no matter rich or poor now or then black folks in America will still be known as nikkas. He's talking about the culture more than the actual content.
