Also, @SunZoo and @Abogado don't get me wrong, Bamboozled is one of my favorite Spike Lee films. He hit the ball out of the park with that one. Still to this day.

I understood what you were saying.

We'll still see those images as long as we have an attachment to them.
I agree with a lot of shyt he's saying on this album, but I'm actually sure most do.

Here's the thing about financial advice, most people know this stuff. People like to think their folks don't, but any average income person of any race knows this stuff. "Save money, don't spend money." shyt most of the people here on the coli talk about this shyt every other day.

People do try to make investments and think long term, but not everyone's investments get red hot, some even end up throwing away their money on it.

So why did Jay make it?

Being a go-getter and grinding no doubt are apart of it. Investing is no doubt apart of it too. Hard work, all that. That's mandatory.

But you still need luck and chance at the end of the day. Things out of your control have to line up.....

Random number generators/probability. It's what the world around you is built on. It's also exactly why you're you. That's the real lesson.

"I went from warring to Warren, undercovers to covers
If you believe in that sort of luck your screws need adjusted
In the world of no justice and black ladies on the back of busses
I'm the immaculate conception of rappers/hustlers
My god it's so hard to conceive, but it all falls perfect I'm like autumn is to trees"

He has been touching on spirituality and manifestation for a while now, even on this new album...

I personally think of Pharrell's message in this video at around 23:30 - 24:10:

Ayo,...
so, this sellout nikka gets to use all the sellout jiggaboo time imagery and throw he was a sellout in your face.
simply cause he soul'd out to make all his money.
Then try to make it like it was a great business decision.
while him and the clown who ruined everything about rap gloat about it on record and in Forbes.
yet nikkaz is ignoring this.

y'all some hoes for that.

I'd like to know exactly how Jay-Z sold out. No broad misnomers and namecalling. I want to know exactly how he "sold out", how he's contradicting himself, and what hip-hop artist does Art Barr not considered a sellout.

Because quite frankly, Art Barr is little more than a clever troll gimmick. He doesn't really say anything, he just talks in limericks and says anything that doesn't fit his specific view of hip-hop (which only he has the rulebook to) makes whoever does it or likes it a sellout. It's a one-note joke.

Awaits Art's forthcoming insults. His thin skin and personal insults in lieu of retorts are as predictable as the sun rising. He thinks that's hip-hop lmao
Was this ever answered?

first off,...
you not hiphop at all to know or comment about it culturally.
like real talk,...
this shyt not your culture.
you a fukk'n fan.

next I listen and know this shyt way above you, so stop with the cliche bullshyt cause it does not work.
then stfu and just succumb to my points no one has challenged cause they are welled in cultural fact and absolute truth.

now,, stfu till you comment on a post about the topic.

That's not allowed around these parts. You need to be the same dude at 45 that you were at 18 or you just a fake, a c00n, and a sellout. I learned that in the Ice Cube sellout thread.

Art Barr you overthinking shyt as usual, what if the nikka Jay just grew up as a person, i mean what if he has a new perspective on life and things, what if he experienced somthin that changed his mind bout things? he makes music and going thru life like the rest of us, cool out my nikka, all you do is talk shyt bout the most popular artists and highlight all of their inconsistencies but aren't we all insonsistent at times, we just see and hear theirs. According to you people aren't allowed to grow mentally or spiritually, i mean cmon bruh nobody is perfect especially nobody in this thing we call hip hop, all these nikkas is hypocrites and shyt and some are pedophiles ask your hero KRS.

Over the past few years these rappers have seemed to hop.on the BLM pseudo pro black shyt.. Jay Z plus other rappers like TI and David Banner who were never on that before.

Even with Common''s last album the material doesn't feel genuine. It feels like he is pandering to the same Hollywood liberals who gave him an Oscars and not the actual fans.
