I’ve grown up watching him play. He don’t deserve those mvps. And I don’t give a damn about him leading the league in assist, especially back then
Assists are overrated but Nash changed that team and that team changed the NBA. Kobe should’ve got one though. That season was magical.

Kobe has a very good argument but not Shaq honestly.

shaq with wade averaging 27/5/6 has no argument AT ALL

Kobe whose teams were 6 & 7 seeds doesn’t either. Great individual season that’s it

before Westbrook won that fluke bullshyt mvp for his triple doubles ,the last mvp that went to a team lower than 3rd/4th seed was kareem in 1975 kobe wasn’t getting mvp for teams 2 and 8 games over .500 no matter how weak the roster was considered.Nash impacted his team tremendously they were top in the league, top 2 offensively ,lost key players and didn’t skip a beat

Steve Nash getting the same disrespect on here other Hall of Famers get. You even got people who disrespect LeBron James. Its unfortunate but it is what it is.

no it wasn’t Jordan averaged 37/5/5 had 8 50+ Scoring games ,29 40+ games and the bulls went 40-42

Kobe averaged 35/4.5/5 had less 40 & 50 point games than the goat and both their rosters sucked.kobe team won 2 more games dudes say that cuz they are group thinking sheep. When you really break it down kobe did nothing to deserve mvp over Nash

Nope it was crazy. Not sure when you started watching basketball. Like I said you had to be there. The elite athleticism + elite skill.

Captivated the sports world.

If they did a player vote it wouldn’t have been even close....

But yes, Jordan had a better season :mjlit:

No one disrespects Steve Nash. Actual GOAT caliber players, whom Nash couldn't tie their shoes, across sports actually get disrespected all the time. If anything Nash has pulled off the the rarely seen ATG props/role player accountability double play. Only other guys I can think of off the top of my head that are on that list are John Stockton and Tom Brady.

The dominance of Steve Nash

PG is a all nba defensive first team level player and a solid scorer, and a year removed from being a legit MVP candidate ...Nash is closer to PG’s level than he is to Magic or Curry...

this is a perfect example of using those two paper MVPs to make him into something he wasn’t
That's within the last 2 years. You brought up his Pacer run from like 7 years ago. George wasn't that good then...
