Ironically, only people who said I sounded white for being relatively intelligent were cacs and suburban nikkas with something to prove. Everyone in the hood and around the way said I was kinda weird but cool. I always got props from the hood nikkas for reading and they let me know, let that be your domain, this street shyt is ours. I went to a 98% black high school in FLATBUSH that was notorious in Brooklyn.

The most popular kid in the school was class president and an intellectual.

In fact, the nerdy dudes weren't even smart. They were actually some of the dumbest kids in the school.

People would accuse their friends of "acting white" mostly as a joke. But no one really cared.

If you click on any of the profiles agreeing with that post, you'll notice that none of them are any different than your average black person. They think they're smart, yet I'm finding all kinds of grammar and spelling mistakes in their posts.

That whole "black people hate smart people" shyt is a racist myth. We made fun of kids who couldn't read.

We bragged about being smarter than our friends.

Also here's something I want you to consider.

If so many black people are saying, "I got made fun of and called white for being smart", then WHO the fukk was making fun of them? Because every black person these days are saying the same shyt. Where are the people that called them white?

The numbers don't add up.

I'm from east Oakland then hunter points san Francisco...both are hood, but totally different.

I've seen it all. In school I've seen darkskin girls attacked for being darkskin and the brunt of every colorism joke.

However I've seen black girls talk about only wanting to date lightskin guys with green eyes


I've heard kids talk about other kids for sounding white.

I've seen blacks kids that skateboard an no one blinked a eye....all this in the 90's by the way. I dont know what kids experience now days


But can tell you that both sides can be equally right due to different exprience.


I know black guys that date white women and they have self hate and hatred toward the black race.

I got called whiteboard because of the black body white boy swag shyt it was big at the time I was in high school. Me and my homie we wore Ralph and Levi’s. That’s the only reason why. When I was in middle school it was because some hours (not days) an hour maybe lol I played Xbox with a white kid instead of being outside hooping with my homies. We all was cool we all shot ball together. It was about 5 of us and two of them. We all skateboarded together did the yugioh cards, played basketball and football, grand theft auto SA, at the end of the day we all still cool. It was never malicious, I could hold my own I guess maybe that’s why. Never felt malicious.
