Scottish and Irish been in America as long as the English. If everybody on the same page there wouldn’t be different accents. If u from down south and go up north and u most likely gone stick out and vice versa. This isn’t as common as people think it is. And the person who said it’s mostly from low income people is correct. They are not exposed to a variety of beliefs, or lifestyles. I only associate with black intellectuals now, and nobody is accusing anyone of acting white.

And most of the kids who are told they act white, are nerdy, and corny. A charismatic, and attractive black person isn’t being ostracized in the black community. Nerds are not at the top of the social ladder in any culture.

That's not true at all in my experience.

I went to a 98% black high school in FLATBUSH that was notorious in Brooklyn.

The most popular kid in the school was class president and an intellectual.

In fact, the nerdy dudes weren't even smart. They were actually some of the dumbest kids in the school.

People would accuse their friends of "acting white" mostly as a joke. But no one really cared.

If you click on any of the profiles agreeing with that post, you'll notice that none of them are any different than your average black person. They think they're smart, yet I'm finding all kinds of grammar and spelling mistakes in their posts.

That whole "black people hate smart people" shyt is a racist myth. We made fun of kids who couldn't read.

We bragged about being smarter than our friends.
