yep, Batum has to be in the closing lineup. We not talking about his defense on Brunson too.

Brunson has to work so, so hard to get his buckets.

DDV has been awful for the Knicks. Someone has to step up and help Brunson out a bit on the offensive end. Does McBride have another 5 3pt outburst in him?

When they can get Joel out of the paint (or if he’s just tired), that “get 10 more rebounds than Philly” offense comes back to life. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went back to winning that margin next game, but I really liked the Batum change up on Jalen. Also thought Philly was able to live with showing him routine doubles.

If they could get anything out of Melton (who played like 2 games ago and seemed healthy…), I think this shyt would be a wrap. You could run him in those McBride-Brunson minutes and stick him on Deuce, and I think they’d be way too clogged up. Nurse for whatever reason doesn’t seem interested in digging deep into his bench though
