Stone Cold was the better wrestler, imo BUT the Rock's mic presence is GOAT level.

With that said, they brought out the best in each other and the Attitude era doesn't happen with one missing.

Hogan got booed as a face, the rock eventually got booed as a face, you will be hard pressed to find a single clip on the internet of austin getting booed as a face. matter of fact, you wont find it. even as a heel they didnt really want too boo him. that should tell you everything

Their promo skills are basically a wash, but the Rock gets the edge for having the more memorable wrestling matches. Some of my favorite matches from the Attitude Era featured the Rock:

Triple threat cage match with Mankind & Shamrock (underrated classic).

that shyt is only memorable because of Austin.
