Above the fray.
I rooted for Rocky Johnson as a kid and was shocked when I learned that Rock was his son.

Rocky's wrestling promos were like hearing Tim Duncan recite the alphabet. Rock got his personality from his mom.

Wrestling is one of those American things that I just cannot justify being a fan of, but I am a big fan of

The amount of redneckery is greater than that of NASCAR. At least the drivers just drive and have no reason to showcase their personalities.

I feel like Austin and all them fools are racists. Know damn well Vince and his fam are opps.

But still. I grew up on the shyt and I was watching it way more than any adult should have in the 90s. To be fair I was 25 in 2000. So I wasn't too far from my childhood by then.

(Eventually you shed your entire childhood self. I still reminisce about old toys and cartoons and I still watch all kinds of sci fi and fantasy shyt, but I can't play video games anymore. I can't buy toys or comics. Things I thought were dope as a kid are totally boring now. The actual dope stuff stays dope, but we watched ALOT of shyt cartoons and movies that are considered classic. Its kind of sad to remember the whole other person you used to be)

Austin was just raw dog. I was convinced. That dude could son anybody. He was nice with his skills before he got hurt so its crazy to think he had that run without REALLY being able to cut loose physically

Rock was funny but I hate move like the worm and the spinaroonie where it just some lame ass gag. That peoples elbow was total trash.

Austin looked like he was fukcing people up.. but if you really think about it, Stone Cold hit the mat during the Stunner. The other dude just had to sell the shyt out of it

Austin.

In the wrestling bubble, strictly the wrestling bubble, Austin is more popular. Obviously outside that very particular bubble, the Rock is on a whole nother level from Austin and any wrestler ever.

I'm just happy I was able to watch two legit GOATs come up at the same time and share their peak together. We will likely never get that again. :wow:
