He's not overrated at all, but people do have a tendency to "forget" some of the lower points of Austin's career AFTER be blew up.

Plus for all the complaining people do about Super Cena those same people overlook the fact that Austin was doing the same shyt.

When Austin became a full on face he started relying on catch phrases and doing his go too promos just like every other face.

In truth Austin was damn near as bad of a face as Orton has been. When Austin was most over as a face he was actually a heel, it's just that fans chose to cheer for him.

Austin could only work during one era he couldn't adjust his character to work in other eras. The GOAT can adjust and be great in every era. Austin was only on top during the attitude era. Austin wouldn't have worked in the late 80's, early 90's and it sure as hell wouldn't work now in the pg era. Austin had a 15 year career and only 3 years he was on top and he's the GOAT??? :heh:

Austin may have had one of the best runs but if you're judging an ENTIRE CAREER it's not even close Hogan, Macho Man , and Flair all had better careers. Nostalgia warps your brain making you think Austin was on top for a long time but in reality he was on top for a short period.

Say MJ played in the nba for 15 seasons and had the best 3 year run ever and won 3 finals and 3 mvps but then the other 12 years he was only mediocre to good is he the GOAT? HELL NO :mjpls:
