Quarterly stimulus for all of 2021 when fiscal revenue is cratering
US Government Bonds gonna start looking real funny in the light.
The Fed needs to ease off the money printer as it stands.
Americans as a whole are already in debt. Mortgage debt. Credit card debt. Car loans/leases. Payday loans. shyt is out of control.
But debt is want the monetary system is based on. Without it, the economy wouldn’t be what it is today.
Most def we are in a debt based financial system, but my argument is that debt levels are too high at the government level (it’s been too high at the consumer level too but that’s a different convo).
This is the first time since WW2 where US debt exceeded it’s annual GDP and the Government wants more deficit spending?
I understand we’re in a pandemic but the government is gonna need to reign in some wasteful spending elsewhere.

My lady works at a credit union and they had a call about an ATM machine being down. Someone cut up their stimulus card, realized after what they did, taped it together and tried to use it at the ATM.
I can't with people, this is the unintended consequences of dis/mis-information and questioning everything.
