Your argument is going to be let me guess social media is bad yadada. You can fix the social media issues surrounding 230 with revisions not repealing the entire section
I actually said “why do you want section 230 around?”

How do you fix those issues?

Why don't you want section 230, that'll be an easier discussion ill wait.
You are the one who said, “2000 checks isn't a good trade off for getting rid of section 230.”

Why isn’t it? Explain why section 230 is that important to prevent taxpayers from receiving $2,000 stimulus checks?
Section 230 was made to increase moderation not reduce it.

"Indeed, this is one key reason why Section 230 was written in the first place. It was done in response to a ruling in the Stratton Oakmont v. Prodigy lawsuit, in which Prodigy, in an effort to provide a "family friendly" environment, did some moderation of its message boards. The judge in that case rules that since Prodigy did moderate the boards, that meant it would be liable for anything it left up."

After the ruling, moderation would make sites liable for user post so site refused to moderate.

Repealing section 230 would not get rid all internet hate speech because there is hate speech that is protected by the 1st amendment. Hate groups would still exist and would sue sites like thecoli for defamation.
Hello! You've Been Referred Here Because You're Wrong About Section 230 Of The Communications Decency Act
It was made for the police to police themselves. That’s why tech companies are fighting against it. They don’t want regulation like other big companies don’t want regulation.

What Defines “Income”
For Medicaid eligibility purposes, any income that a Medicaid applicant receives is counted. To clarify, this income can come from any source. Examples include employment wages, alimony payments, Veteran’s benefits, pension payments, Social Security Disability Income, Social Security Income, Supplemental Security Income, IRA withdrawals, and stock dividends. However, when only one spouse of a married couple is applying for nursing home Medicaid or a HCBS Medicaid waiver, only the income of the applicant is counted. Said another way, the income of the non-applicant spouse is disregarded. To be clear, income is calculated differently for couples in which one spouse is applying for regular Medicaid. In this case, the income of both spouses is calculated towards the income eligibility of the applicant spouse. For additional information on how Medicaid counts income, click here.

Connecticut Medicaid Eligibility: 2020 Income & Asset Limits

SSI:

As far as assets are concerned, to be eligible for SSI, an applicant can have no more than $2,000 in assets ($3,000 for a couple), a figure that has not changed since 1989. If the applicant can use or liquidate an asset to pay for food or shelter, the asset will probably count as a "resource" against this limit.

people are gonna be big time fukked
