Had a 55 store chain close out here...all locations. All those jobs, gone. That’s also more vacant store fronts in business districts
Commercial real estate is fukkED. Between all the places going belly up and all the vacant offices as people switch over to work from home on a permanent basis... Its gonna be dark days for commercial real estate ahead.

Balls in their court now.

I actually think their internal polls show they are going to lose so they are robbing the shelves before they lose power.

These people have so much money America can burn and they can move to Europe.

With that said..... Guillotines were invented for a reason and politicians/elites should always remember that.

we’re going to really have to rethink our economy going forwards...

Hopefully the Dems are up for some tough choices.

Republicans clearly aren’t up for the task and are content with everyone dying

Funnily(?) enough, I had a coworker legit stressing over that today. :lupe:
Well gun sales went up. Also when people are broke with a family to feed, that’s when shyt starts to get real. The unemployment is about to be a joke, so expect more hotheaded takes from places where people interact, at places like supermarkets.

America typically goes through 50 year economic cycles. We are at the tail end of the Regan economic era (1980-2030) which was unfettered capitalism, less regulation, economic bubbles every 10 years, Trickle down economics stagnating wages, high standard of living, the rise and f contract and gig economy work, student loans debt rapidly increasing income inequality and massive wealth transfers to the top. So this decade shyt has to change. This isn’t sustainable there is too many issue with the current economic model.Dems will have to maintain power for the remainder of the decade to enact meaningful change for the next 50 years. If the status quo stays the same America in its current form won’t exist in 2080.
