I told y’all any further stimulus would have strings attached. GOP only gives money if they know you will spend it(ie give it right back). Money to pay down debt isn’t what they want.

Imagine in NYC we have 100k people evicted in September after the rent moratorium ends on August 31st. shyt would be very very ugly. It is their best interest to pass stimulus bill.

Lol that 1200 was used mostly to pay for food and pay debts. A lot of folks are behind in their rent. Cuomo said there will be a rent moratorium till August 31st. What happens after we have no clue. Homeowners also had a mortgage moratorium. Landlords are filling the pinch right now because they still have to pay taxes and other amenities. So we could either face a eviction crisis or a commercial real estate collapse in the city.
