the only problem with Stillmatic is that the 1st half was flawless, then the 2nd half didn't live up to the first half(though there were some great songs).

Braveheart Party(later taken off the album)
Every Ghetto
My Country

He could have kept those. They aren't wack, but just didn't really belong. Now, I bought 2 versions of this album. On the European version(I was in Europe when this dropped) had 3 bonus tracks. "No idea's original" (not the Lost Tapes version), "Everybody's Crazy", and another one that I can't think of right now. Classic album though. At first I thought those few tracks would fukk up the status of the album, but I feel it's Nas' 3rd best album. I personally feel that Blueprint is the better overall album than Stillmatic, but I like Stillmatic more and have listened to it a hell of a lot more than BP. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone.. Even BP had 2 tracks that most people skip through.

Every Ghetto contains some of the best rapping Nas has ever displayed, you're crazy to include that song.

Stillmatic is my fav Nas album and my fav rap album altogether

What the album represents resonates with me to my core

You're Da Man is a deep track and my fav Nas track in his vast catalogue

The political songs at the end are all dope...esp living in the geopolitical climate that way we do today, it's prophetic

The production on the album is dope, the more aggressive tone this album took is dope, the introspection is dope....man, what a classic fkn album

Even the AZ & Blitz features were crazy

Fav tracks: You're Da Man, Stillmatic Intro, Second Childhood, The Flyest, Ether, What Goes Around, Every Ghetto

all of the songs on the album contain top notch lyricism, including "Braveheart party". But Every Ghetto's beat and hook were not that good. Nobody hates the Nastradamus album due to the lyrics. To put it in perspective, "one time 4 ya mind" is better than most songs on Nastradamus, but if you took a poll of least favorite songs on Illmatic, roughly 75% would claim this is the one they like the least. Every Ghetto isn't wack, it's just not as good as the best songs on the album.
