NFL Network had to go to commercial on the Cowboys pick. I straight up missed it. Rod was on 105.3 earlier and was saying some interesting stuff.
He basically said what we all knew. The running game will shorten the game and put less pressure on the defense. (I'll save my argument for that for another time)
Said that Lawrence hurts because he was ready to take the next step. Threw out a stat and said that Lawrence saw 134 single blocking playing (8 sacks) vs. Hardy's 66 times. He only likes to go 8 deep on his line. We cold see Crawford moving out to play DE the first 4 games. He said they'll just try to see where everyone fits. To me he didn't sound too enthused with the group concluding with something like, "It's my job to develop these guys and make them better."
