And so what do you suggest we, as black people, do? Drop everything and rush to the defense of NA??!?!? Do you really think that type of solidarity would be offered if the tables were turned? Is that type of solidarity EVER offered from other races to us? NO!!!! So tired of black people always wanting to be a super hero for "others." Like I said in another thread, we have enough shyt on our plate already. And just like NA were in no position to own shyt, and were suffering under white supremacy....SO ARE WE, RIGHT NOW!!!!! What is wrong with some of you blacks?!!?!?!? Going into debt trying to give somebody else a dollar that you don't have....

It's not an either or proposition. I notice many of these threads revolve around comments like "I can only care about black people so no one else gets my sympathy." That doesn't make sense to me personally.

My suggestion on the topic: police violence? If I was a dictator and could do what I wanted? Body cameras for every cop (feds can pay - but states that attempt to push back would be forced to pay for it themselves), justice system reform in order to get prosecutors out of bed with cops, and a dismantling of the biggest police unions in the country. I support unions but when it comes to cops fukk that. They exist to protect crooked cops and justify murder.

In reality? Body cameras and a grass roots organization in every major city focused on electing prosecutors who are not beholden to cops. Imagine what would have happened in Baltimore if the prosecutor was like the guy in Ferguson: a police slappy fukkface. Instead Baltimore elected a strong prosecutor who doesn't give a fukk. I'd also like to see mandatory lethal force training for cops. If someone is running from you and doesn't have a gun...you probably shouldn't shoot them.

All these solutions help everyone who faces police corruption. Clearly they would help blacks and Native Americans the most. This is not about being a "superhero" for other races. Common sense reforms should help everyone regardless of race.

Reservations are nothing but something to ease the pain of a slowly dying people and culture.
Black people have a chance. Mainly Africa and it's resources.
