did Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Field completely take anyone else out of this trailer? they just looked out of place. i dont know about this, something else was off in that trailer. I dig American history and all that, but i cant imagine this not being boring and preachy as shyt

He's on of my favorite President (for how he politically sonned the shyt outta the South) but lets be reality. He's a filthly cac who called to free slaves because the South had too much power and America was becoming Industrialized. The man opposed slavery because it made the US look bad. If I met the man in person, I'd shake Lincoln's hand then proceed to shyt in his breakfast right after I screen him a video of me impregnating his closest White female descendant.

That trailer is 100% War Horse status. So poorly done.

Spielberg needs to hang it up and stick to producing if this movie is anything like the vibe of the trailer is giving off.

Spielberg hasn't made a good film since Munich.

DDL as Lincoln is such perfect casting. It's a shame about the director.

DDL looks on point in this flick.. My problem with Spielberg directing it is that he's probably going to play it safe, instead of being more objective about who Lincoln really is. If it's a well made movie.. I'll give it a pass.. I just hope he doesn't screw it up as bad as Eastwood did with J Edgar..

I'd be lying if I said I didn't lose some respect for Lincoln after finding out he truly believed blacks were inferior/dumber than everyone else.

SOME respect? dude only freed the slaves for purely economic reasons. The South had an advantage over the North as they could have slaves work year round while the North's winters were too cold for labor. fukk Lincoln and anyone who loved him

Spielberg has lost his touch. I will obviously give this film a chance but I'm not expecting much outside of DDL delivering as he always does.

You know damn well if this was another film about Jews and their struggle that Spielberg wouldn't be so quick to leave out historical facts.
