Snoop didnt have a verse. Why is everybody saying he wrote this invisible Snoop verse? Lol. He wrote the whole song. Including Snoop’s part on the hook. Jay def blessed them nikkas tho. But I thought this was a known fact by now. I dont think the game is ever gonna see overall talent like Jay,pac and Nas or a few others again honestly.

Yes Everyone Chill. Snoop did not have a verse but I'm still surprised he didn't write the hook. It sounds exactly like something Snoop would say on a track. But no, Those Adlibs on the end was probably Snoop guys, I don't think Jay wrote "Sticky, Sticky, Ohh Wee, Put it in the Air", lol. 4 Pages and nobody posted the video?

You answered your question. Stoute was an EP on "The Firm" album with Dre. He was coming off "I.W.W." with NaS and that was the album where NaS and Dre collaborated first which was the birth of the idea for him to produce "The Firm" album. And honestly till this day, I think the album gets some unjust hate. It's sound is definitely a product of that time but there were several bangers on that album. I just think us NaS fans wanted him on every single song but it was highlighting all the members.
So was 50 a plant? Sounds like the connection to Interscope was already there and 50 had dealings with Trackmasters. What did 50 say again about Steve not wanting him to sign to Em?

We just going to ignore the "what does eminem think?" part. lol Reminds me of Royce's manager saying he “seen Em sit Dre down like a pupil and coach him on rhymes”.

:what: And do I sense some East Coast pride in this thread? Why are some of you in a celebratory mood after finding out that Jay wrote this? :why:

50 was really brought in by Jam Master Jay during the time he had Onyx already that's why 50 was on their album and that lead to the the Trackmasters/NaS connection early on. So he was originally singed to Columbia and Steve was an Executive at that time. Remember he got dropped after the Shooting and literally had to remake his career. I still think "Power of a Dollar" is a very underrated album in his catalog even though it was basically shelved.

He was the President of Urban Music Entertainment at Sony/Columbia and was the Executive Producer of "It Was Written", "The Firm" and also helped with the Will Smith Sony Deal I believe which is why NaS and the Trackmasters were heavily involved with "Big Willie Style". He joined Interscope After leaving Columbia/Sony. 50 link to Interscope was through Em who brought him to Dre after liking some of the G-Unit mixtapes.
