@Hov how can I get a good skill set? any online websites you recommend that I can learn an in demand skill set without having to pay to learn? I work a dead end job currently.
Tbh there’s so many factors to this.

Age, location, education etc

You can PM me privately if you don’t want to put all that here and I’ll do the best I can brother

But overall for me, it was something I was already naturally good at and liked doing. So I just googled “jobs in that field near me” and read the qualifications. Then I wrote them all down and googled each one I didn’t have and how to get it.

Sometimes I would pull up to a spot and literally ask can I work there or how to get my foot into the door and they would be so surprised they would actually help. Because when you act serious and about it a lot of times ppl don’t want to turn you away, but at least they will guide you in the right direction. Like I am here as a stranger - because you asked and seemed genuine bro.

I also had to do some fukked up jobs for about 2 years while I was grinding, but I can only speak for me - it def was all worth it based on where I’m at today.

That’s why I believe most of us men can do it. Because I did and I don’t have any degrees or certs and I know life is crazy, but I’m not Steve Harvey, I’m speaking what I know and what I’ve seen.

And again, if there isn’t a path you really want, I lean towards transportation (trains, metros) becaywe they pull 100k if you stay long enough and are always hiring and them dudes be eating and you can tell they came from the streets but now living life lol

steve has a rep for leaving his wive's
for his mistress.
he's three wives in but for some reason
dingbats see him as the moral authority
on marriage and relationships.

left his second wife and twin daughters high
and dry for marjorie ( lori's mama )
marjorie was one of the biggest
gold diggin trick magnet's in the detroit
D-boy scenes.

she married a kingpin she helped move
weight with that got hit with calanders
after trying to purchase 40 bricks, divorced him after he was
behind the wall and got with his (COUSIN) another brick flipper.
she hit the jackpot with trickbag steve.

she run that nikka and if he went broke today at
noon he would be getting hit with papers at 12:45.

Dude is a clown but there's something to the point about men and provider roles. If you are so caught up on gender roles and being the leader, surely that means being in position to lead right? Which means doing what fathers and grandfathers did decades ago: get a good job, get a car, get a wife, and build a home. Yea yea, grandad did that while working an automobile job that doesn't exist today. What are you doing to find the modern day equalivent? If that means being an accountant, doctor, mailman, or electrician...what are you doing to get there? Or are you playing videogames and crying on the internet?

You want traditionalism? Be traditional. And part of that means settling. Most of our granddads didn't marry the town hottie. They married the 6/10 schoolteacher who fit what they wanted out of a wife. But because brehs want to focus on dimes who are out of their league (and not even compatible with what they want in a partner) we've got men remaining perpetually single and lonely because they can't get their porn fantasy.
:manny:

Be true to yourself, be honest about who you are, and be honest about what you want. Until dudes stop playing games, stop expecting to bag dimes while making 35k a year, stop wasting career advancement opportunities, start taking school seriously, start taking trades seriously, start learning basic communication skills, and stop pursuing worthless women we're gonna keep failing while others achieve.

All great points

It boils down to reality vs expectations that shot kills dynamics on both parts

The older generation always talks down to the younger generation.

It’s tradition.

But if Steve Harvey has a problem with the younger generation today, he ought to send his frustration or counseling or advice to the generation that raised this young generation.

So you can shyt on all these kids now. But save some shyt for the 40-50 year olds who made them this way.
So much this.....Boomers and Gen X brehs conveniently forgot that their kids are an extension of themselves.

Millenials are now in their 40s, so what we really talking about is Gen Z.

Not possible in any big city anymore even burbs super expensive.

To buy a house in my city or suburbs (even a hour away)

Most homes in Toronto remain above $1 million, requiring a 20% downpayment. A gross household income of over $200,000 is needed to qualify for a home in Toronto

200k downpayment to have a 800k mortgage at 6 percent interest rate =
Your Monthly Payment will be:

$5,257.16

but just elevate breh :blessed:
Toronto is a uniquely bad example - one of the worst in the Western Hemisphere. That isn't to say it is easy to buy a home here in the U.S. either, particularly if you're a regular person who lives in Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle, or Denver.

But the majority of people don't live in one of the largest cities/metros in the country - they live in smaller, well-sized cities or suburbs/exurbs.

Looking at housing prices in Columbus - you can get a decent-sized home in the city or nearby suburbs for about $250-300k.

Still a lot of money, but not unreachable for dual-income homes; particularly as the average rent price here is equal to that mortgage price, or slightly higher.

Same goes for other places around the U.S: Memphis, Omaha, St. Louis, Milwaukee, Albany, Cleveland, Augusta, Birmingham, Charlotte, etc.

That being said, I don't claim to be a "traditional man" in need of a housewife who caters to me.
I'm a young Black professional who dates Black professional women, will be marrying a Black professional woman and - while taking care of my wife and children, will not be shouldering the financial burden alone - nor will my wife be shouldering the domestic responsibilities alone.

For men who are obsessed with the idea of "traditional" relationships, "submission," and nonsense like that - @Piff Perkins is 100% on point.

It's a different day. The day of just getting that job staying for 40 years and getting enough money to buy a house get married and the wife stays home is dead in any mid to large city.

Steve Harvey lives in a different world . But if I can do it anyone can azz nikka
Yep. Those days are OVER.

I never had and never will have a woman that don't work.

It especially boggles my mind when I hear Black ppl talk that shyt, like the wealth gap ain't as big as it is. And be the 1st ppl talking about "generational wealth!"
