I say it changes every few years, but always pay attention to where people that look like you are migrating and seem to be thriving...

In 2023 I'm seeing a lot of people migrate to the Carolina's (I think Charlotte?), Texas, basically the South.

It looks like if you have a dope remote job (the cheat code) or a skill set where you can apply and get hired before you relocate, you can afford great homes for much lower costs.

Even in the DC area, if you move an hour away from the city you can get a 5 bedroom mansion looking home for the 500ks - but same house even bigger down South be CHEAP AF.

It's all about choosing your destiny. But I'm not gonna act like Im better than everyone else, I was caught up in the city/this is where I grew up for a long time too, and it held me back until I smartened up.
