Best believe if it was Lebron it’ll be the opposite. Because according to them, Lebron doesn’t stay pad. Oh noooo way.
LeBron will actually make playoff runs averaging a triple double though...
No he didn't...:russ:

The one year Oscar won a championship he averaged 19/6/7, and was able to assimilate into a more suitable role as a #2 without the pressure of having to score all the points...

O's only triple double season was in Y2 and he was a first round out. Cumulatively he averaged a triple double for his first 6 years in The League, 30.4/10/10.7----->in those six years he did get the Royals to two ECF and the playoffs five times...

Its actually pretty apt that Westbrook is compared directly to Oscar, Russ is at 26/10.3/10 for his last five seasons, and his team has only made it past Rd1 once and likely won't get outta there this year. I have a feeling these two are really similar styles of player but thats the problem I have with how overrated Robertson became, the man himself said he never even heard the term "triple double" until the 80s so he gets a ton of credit in retrospect for something that wasn't even tallied in his era, in lieu of his overall body of work. Triple double shouldn't even be mentioned when it comes to dude, it wasn't an actual thing...

Your team can't win a title with either Oscar Robertson or Russell Westbrook as your best player...
Nah breh you wilding out lol. Two ECFs losses to a dynasty and a single Round 1 win playing with another MVP aren't the same.

Fair enough.lol. O's performance in the '63 DF particularly seems like a higher bar than anything Russ has ever done, I wish I could find footage...

O was more 6'5" CP3 than proto-Russ, and I think Tall CP3 does damage in any era and likely leads a team to at least 1 ring, so long as the defense is worth a damn. The Royals were bottom of the league in D.

That Utah team has the best record in the league right now. Terrible example.
That was back in 2018 and that same Utah team hasn't won ANY other playoff series in the last 3 years, but now their regular season record in 2021 is relevant? This is the logical faculties of a Westbrook stan on display.

PG13 has been a chronic playoff underperformer. Or did you forget that Kawhi has failed to win with him.
Where did you make this shyt up? PG13 as the #1 option has won 5 playoff series and made two ECFs, giving Bron trouble both times. And he won the first round with Kawhi last year too. The ONLY team he ever failed to ever advance with....was the Thunder and Westbrook.

He averaged 27-7-3 as the #2 option on the Thunder with better shooting %'s than Westbrook....and you're calling him the underperformer.

Melo? Really? Even Bron wasn't willing to give Melo a job on his team.
Carmelo in 2018 was coming off an all-star season with the Knicks averaging 22ppg. That's a fantastic #3 option. Even now he's working as a solid #3 option for the Blazers.

And for some strange reason, despite no longer having to tolerate Russ stealing his rebounds, Adams didn't increase his rebounding average after Russ was traded.
Adams's rebounding #'s increased dramatically after Russ was traded, he jumped from 10 boards/36 to 12.5 boards/36. You probably shouldn't argue stats if you can't even read them.

Anyone who is saying that Westbrook, PG13, Carmelo, Adams, Brewer, and Jeremi Grant isn't enough firepower to win more than 2 games in a 1st-round series is simply saying that they don't think much of Westbrook.

Wow. You tried to come in here with a flawed stat like per36? Disgraceful.

You gotta argue with statstics not me. You didn’t really refute the win percentage.
because rings ultimately matters the most when you’re talking about playoff success. If you didn’t win ultimately you lost... that’s what the new nba era is all about and that’s why these players are teaming up
I refuted it.

I just broke it down for you.

This is the problem with NBA fans. Y'all are too blinded by box score stats that you can't think for yourselves.

Never understood why rebounds were impressive stats

you just stand there and wait for some incompetent shooter to miss and the ball comes to you
This is why people cant take your basketball opinions seriously. You dont even recognize the importance of having possession of the ball.
@murksiderock you really dapped this nonsense?

What impact does grabbing an uncontested rebound really have in the grand scheme of things, in relation to all the other actions in the game? And this doesn't just apply to Westbrook. This applies to grabbing uncontested rebounds, in general.

Curry's elite shooting has been part of a multi-championship winning success. Russ' triple doubles are forced, empty stats. If Bron were an idiot, he could have forced triple doubles every game and lost 20% more games every season/post-season.

U really hate Westbrook lol

that’s like me criticizing Bron for losing his nba finals. Being Bron the best player ever and lost playing alongside two other all stars on two different occasions for 8 of the last 11 years. With that much talent he should not ever loss. No matter the opponent.

And y’all talk about players getting better when the leave Russ. So the only year out of 9 where Bron didn’t play with a allstar. Brandon Ingram became a allstar the very moment he left Bron.

Now Bron on season 2 with a top 10-15 big of all time. the top 6th men of the year. alongside the greatest rebounder of this generation lol

It’s no reason for my Lakers to lose
