LeBron is arguably a better passer, but Jordan was no slouch in the passing department. MJ had dimes!

And how is LeBron a better defender? Because he can guard more positions due to his size? Yall musT be young, but MJ was a LOCKDOWN defender...possibly even moreso than Pippen.

Not even trying to hate on Bron cause the boy is gifted, but in no way is he more skilled than MJ.

Edit: these aren't even MJ's best passes, but there's a few good ones in there.

Skills umm agility isn't a skill you can't really learn to be agile your either agile ir your not. You can work on it but I don't think you csn make yourself agile if your not :/
And strength isn't a skill eithe come on. He has a great genetic makeup and is a genetic freak but stop it . He loses his agility then what ?falls back on shooting ?:sabo;:scusthov::whoo:
once trained to its apex, its a skill.. its one of your specialized ability.

I think Stephen A Smith is an of the moment dikkrider. Dude always flips his opinion when he starts to look like he wrong, which is why I have a hard time respecting most sport writers.

no it not, its called athleticism.

athleticism is a SKILL

If you have to WORK to develop something, WORK to maintain it, and WORK to use it ....it's a motherfukking skill.

LeBron didn't come out of the womb with a "Spalding" birthmark on his nutsack.

no it isnt. You saying it is, and repeating it over and over, does not make it any more true.

No, that doesn't make it true. (which is why I haven't done that)

The arguments and reasoning I used to support my statement make it true.

You ignored them (glaringly ommiting them from your quoting of me) ...Here it is again:

um...no.
if you run a 4.40 40 on your best try, no matter how hard and for how long you try and practice running faster afterwards, you wont be able to run a 4.20, EVER.

No... Actually the 40 Yard dash, just like any sprinting race can be fine tuned and improved upon... The only reason I know this was because when I was recruited for football improving my technique and general sprint speed for the 40 was a huge part of my workouts.... If you run below a 4.5 then you can improve and get it to 4.3 speed and possibly 4.2 speed... Anything above 4.5 probably not though.... Freshman year of Highschool I was running 4.7's and by my senior year I was running 4.35 due to hardwork....

definition of skill
2
a : the ability to use one's knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance
b : dexterity or coordination especially in the execution of learned physical tasks
3
: a learned power of doing something competently : a developed aptitude or ability

nah, but he was naturally already fast. You can change your running technique to get faster but if you are slow, you are slow.

Learning how to play basketball (dribbling, shooting form, defensive positioning, screening, passing, etc) are all stuff that is learned. When its learned, that is a skill.

Jumping real high, you can maintain but if you dont have the potential to get a 40 inch vertical then you never will get a 40 inch vertical. Conversely, if you cant shoot a jump shot when you first start playing then you can learn how to properly and improve. Jason Kidd is an example of this. Why? Because shooting the ball is a skill.

You dont know shyt about basketball

*daps* I went from a 5.1 to a 4.6. Nikkaz think people just born, fast, explosive, etc. That's hours in the gym nikkaz. Only non athletes say dumb sh*t like this. Yes, can't work on height/size. And you can't go from average to world class speed only by working out. But :snoop: at anyone thinking an athlete can just wake up and dominate. Just look at guys like a Shawn Kemp. Once he let go of his conditioning, his dominance dropped considerably. There's more hard work in this sh*t than people realize.

because they are :aicmon:

you obviously have to maintain that speed and work on form to maximize it, but a person is already born fast.

Cole Aldrich will never be faster than Lebron no matter how hard he works.

And no one said an athlete can wake up and dominate. You only read one post in this entire thread and then decided to make up something else.
