This was probably worse case scenario for the business besides Disney and going PG to G so of course Vince makes it happen lol

I'm trying to think rationally and find any positives outside Vince's bank account and can't. This seems like the thing that'll just finish wrestling off for good

If anybody's excited about another promotion coming up like AEW off this, I don't think you understand viewing habits, or just don't care.

Tony can't stay above a million on a completely different night and network than RAW/SD, nothing's stopping people from watching now. Depending on how they feel about Saudis (most likely negative) casuals are just going to stop supporting wrestling altogether

I agree, a big brand falling off doesn't mean a smaller brand will automatically take their viewership and fanbase. When HBO Boxing shut down, Showtime boxing didn't become a a bigger deal. Instead it left a hole in the boxing market

Honest question:
The women have been happily doing the Saudi PPVs for years now. All the wrestlers except like 2% have happily taken the Saudimania checks.

Why are yall acting like they are suddenly going to be outraged by Vince selling to a Saudi company?

Hell the Saudi PPV threads ON HERE be poppin. This seems like a lot of outrage for outrage and then everyone still gonna be tuned in week after week, the superstars still gonna be cashing their checks, etc.

Lol I’m saying. A lot of dramatic ass posts in here.

Meltzer babbling about how the Saudis taking over could mean the WWE won't get any more TV deals :mjlol:

Like USA Network don't completely rely on Raw for any kind of relevency or that the Saudis ain't already deep into US business. Like mfs didn't just celebrate the sports washing for Qatar at the World Cup a month ago :mjtf:
What the hell does USA even air besides Raw and WWE specials? Law & Order SVU reruns?! :pachaha:
