Honest question:
The women have been happily doing the Saudi PPVs for years now. All the wrestlers except like 2% have happily taken the Saudimania checks.

Why are yall acting like they are suddenly going to be outraged by Vince selling to a Saudi company?

Hell the Saudi PPV threads ON HERE be poppin. This seems like a lot of outrage for outrage and then everyone still gonna be tuned in week after week, the superstars still gonna be cashing their checks, etc.

Doing a show and company being owned are Apples and bowling balls... two different things

Doing the show over there, they were working for WWE and Vince

Having Saudi owners, they don't have "protection and reassurances" if shyt goes bad over there, Saudi's going through a lot of shyt over womens rights now too... and arresting women protestors over womens rights, all it takes is one nasty look while over there by a female wrestler or a comment and then they ain't coming home

Remember how everyone got "stranded" over there too

I looked on Wikipedia and Vince Sr was in power from 53 to 82, for 30 years. He died 2 years later at a younger age than Vince jr is now. And jr was running things for 40 years, longer than his dad. He just a greedy b*stard.

He's greedy but he also doesn't want his children to have control of the company. Vince Sr. specifically asked Jr. not to disrespect the old territory system, to do business upstanding with them and he promised he would only to turn around and do the exact opposite to take the federation national.

It moved the industry forward for sure but he still lied to his father and he's afraid his kids will do the same(and they probably would for the betterment of the business). Power hungry is the bottom line and Vince has no issues sabotaging things if he can't get his way.

I suspect Vince Sr. didn’t live, eat, and breathe this rasslin shyt, either

Old mans probably had more of a life. On some “It ain’t all that damn serious” :gucci:

If the Saudis did indeed buy the WWE talent hoarding may eventually return, depending upon if they want to compete with Tony Khan/AEW in good faith or squeeze them out of the business. If WWE has already been sold the typical cost cutting/bloodletting used to put lipstick on a pig would not be necessary here. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

And here I was thinking, "puts on WWE":russ:
It can go either way honestly, market goes based off of rumors once the news officially comes out damage (or the opposite) could already be done If its the Saudis that bought think of the big changes to the product that could potentially happen. USA as a whole still has a rocky relationship with Saudi Arabia.
