Stop it swag eye test especially in 2016 had people questioning BRON vs steph steph was unbelievable, KD capped steph. And the rematch vs CLE would’ve been another insane 7 games.

Its what happens when you don't listen to media propaganda and think for yourself.

Steph Curry was a total media fabrication.
I've been saying this and people called me crazy. Steph Curry should literally be on the Harlem Globetrotters. He should be no where in GOAT discussion for any serious ball discussion.

I've never seen a rational person put him in GOAT discussion. I'd say its fair for someone to consider him a top 3 PG all time though. If he can stop being inconsistent/passive at times in the playoffs, and win a FMVP or two over KD then you could argue him versus Magic :yeshrug:

Not winning FMVP in 2015, when he should have IMO, lowkey fukked his legacy unless he can win one in the coming years. He averaged 26/5/6 on 44/39/89 shooting (58.5% TS). He averaged 10+ PPG in the fourth quarter, something like fourth best of all time in the finals I think. The Steph hate is still blasphemous though, his playoffs career average is 25.9/5.1/6.5. For comparison, Kobe's is 25.6/5.1/4.7.

Maybe to idiots who don't know what they're looking for. I exposed the Steph Curry myth early on. I was the nikka laughing at the rest of ya'll for believing the media bullshyt about Steph Curry being the best player in basketball.

I was the nikka AT THAT TIME saying he wasn't even in the top 5 let alone number 1.

Stop spouting stats. We watched those fukking games in 2015. He was AWFUL. Regardless of the fact he somehow got those stats to look decent in the end, he was straight trash in almost every game and moment that mattered outside of game 5.

When you get shut down by some lil cac nobody ever heard of, you lose any rights to winning a finals MVP. The award rightfully went to Andre Igoudala. His addition to the starting lineup as well as his defense on LeBron ultimately won that series.

And FTR, Curry isn't even a top 3 PG right now let alone all-time. Fukk outta here.

I thought Nash was a bit overrated. He was a cool point guard but he didnt take over games scoring enough. Curry is better than Nash as the thread title states.

Curry has flaws though. Curry can score beneath the 3 point line but he looks dejected when he has to work to score in the mid-range/at the cup. He only wants to run 50 feet, from 3-point line on defense to 3-point line on offense. Make dude run 94 feet like the rest of the players and he doesnt play so well. Like it pains him to do it. He also never, never, never plays with his back to the basket. If you pressure and turn him, he will pass it. It works well for a free flowing offense but if they need a basket and you pressure him, hes gonna look for Klay or KD. I might have seen him shoot 3 turning fade-a-ways in his career.

Curry's run hasnt been long enough for me to anoint him top-3 point guard, although I have him in the conversation because of his shooting ability. He was the best player on a team that lost a 3-1 lead in the finals, I dont know why its a general "Golden State" black mark and never mentioned for him like Dallas is for Bron, and Phoenix is for Kobe

Curry is over 50% around the rim so what are you talking about? Easiest way to score he found is beyond he 3pt line where defenses don’t want to play out that far
