No perimeter player in the history of this game has been as closely guarded as Step has. I mean what other player drags multiple defenders when he doesn't have the ball (running off screens) and drags multiple defenders when he does have the ball at such a consistent rate from practically everywhere in the halfcourt?

Curry has it very easy. The team just clicks. Curry gets great picks and assists off most his scoring. Teams can't focus on him like they did iverson cause IGGY draymond, Klay or someone else will kill you.
Iverson was a one man army. Iverson was pretty much breaking down defenders in ISOs every game and taking it to the rim over giants. His mid range was pretty good. Only thing he didn't have was a consistent 3 point shot which curry has. Imagine if Iverson could shoot like curry? He'd score like 40 a game.
Curry depends on 3s and his teammates setting him up.
Iverson didn't depend on anything but himself. He scored his 30+ ppg the hard way and took a beating. Ppg percentage or shots per game is irrelevant.
Plus AI plyed against better players and team. He did more than curry with less for like 6 seasons straight. And was arguably the best in the league for 2-3 of them.
Curry has 1 hot year so far. He has to prove himself more.

You're taking things too seriously
I think stats need to be distilled down to a points per minute as well as a +/- per minute. This would be very telling. Stats never tell the whole story however, since it's only a sampling. Iverson having 4 scoring titles is nice and all, but he was an inefficient ball hog. Do you not realize what it means to have a point guard that can score so quickly and efficiently from 0 to 30 feet, that can play off the ball, that can make passes when necessary, that can score 20 points in no time flat?
I'm a warrior fan and I had no idea Steph would be this good, or that any player could be this good. I constantly see him break an opponent's back as they cut into a lead and Steph takes a 30 foot shot and drills it like a practice layup. Are you really going to pretend like this is normal behavior?
