Everyone saying curry over AI need to watch how hard players like him and say Reggie Miller had to work to get contested jumpshots in comparisons on how teams are literally falling asleep and letting curry spot up for countless corner threes, threes off loose balls and fast break threes.

Yea curry has range. So go out there and guard him and stay on him

Oh I forgot he also has two other all stars on his team waiting.

The Warriors are like a dam leaking at 6 diff spots and it's like a teams can't decide or know what leak to plug up so they often leave the biggest one open, curry

Iversons sixers had 1 leak:mjlol:

And teams still couldn't stop it:ohhh:

Curry is the most heavily-guarded perimeter player in NBA history.

Jordan had a who list of unspoken rules created by a team to stop him.

If teams were smart they'd rough him up and get into Currys head like Dellavedova did, only worse but you can't get away with that type of stuff on today's league. Plus these NBA pgs have no pride and they're all too soft and passive (except rondo and Westbrook).

They'd rather just let curry keep turning them into vines :mjlol:

Curry has no fear out there. I dont even think he respects his defender anymore :wow:

him saying they fall asleep on curry is CRAZY :mjlol:

Easily attracts the most attention in the league
This shyt was from last season -
To recap, gravity score measures how closely a player's defender sticks to him off the ball. Higher gravity scores generally belong to bigs because their primary defender must stay close and also protect the basket. On the other hand, guards typically have lower gravity scores simply because defenders have more liberty to shade off their guy on the perimeter. But elite shooters typically generate more attention off the ball.

Then there's distraction score, which quantifies how much a player's defender is willing to help off the ball to stop the ball handler. The worse he is as a shooter, the more likely his defender will be distracted by the ball handler. To identify the most effective floor-spacers in the NBA, I created a composite score that combines the two metrics. The result is what I've called "respect rating," which has now been translated to a 1-to-100 scale with 100 being the most magnetic (think sharpshooters) and 1 being least magnetic (think non-scoring bigs).

1. Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors | Respect rating: 97.9
Gravity score: 97.3 | Distraction score: 98.4

2. Kyle Korver, Atlanta Hawks | Respect rating: 96.0
Gravity score: 92.3 | Distraction score: 99.7

3. Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors | Respect rating: 94.4
Gravity score: 89.6 | Distraction score: 99.1

4. Mike Conley, Memphis Grizzlies | Respect rating: 87.5
Gravity score: 79.3 | Distraction score: 95.7

5. Gordon Hayward, Utah Jazz | Respect rating: 84.0
Gravity score: 72.1 | Distraction score: 95.9
I'd imagine those #s would be even higher this season. You can't leave him unguarded from the halfcourt down, cause you know dude will just throw up some shyt from anywhere in the halfcourt when he's given a lil room.

We're already seeing that now with Curry. Teams are doing all types of shyt to stop him, that we've never seen defenses do before. It's a whole new ball game defending him. He's pretty much the first player who defenders approach the PnR by pushing the main man defender over the top and the help defender hedges through past his man on the other side to suffocate. That's without mentioning how he's guarded off the ball - it's like Rip Hamilton with a constant shadow.

I just watched that Arenas highlight, Kobe started guarding him with 5 mins left in the 4th
Arenas scored 43 in the second half including 16 in OT.

24 total in the last 10 minutes (OT included). The last 10 minutes is when Kobe guarded him right :sas1:
Arenas nets 60 as Wiz beat Lakers in OT
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Gilbert Arenas got on quite a roll, putting
up the most points in franchise history and more than anybody,
except Wilt Chamberlain, has scored against the Lakers.

Arenas had 16 points in the 5-minute extra period, including 14
in a row for the Wizards during one stretch.

Arenas went 17-of-32 from the floor, including 5-of-12 from
3-point range. He made 21 of his 27 free throws and had eight
assists and eight rebounds. Forty-three of his points came after
halftime.
