When I was a youngn, like 10 or so, had a friend a few years older than me. I'd kick it at his house a lot. Well one day this kid's pops basically snapped after a beef with his wife. Took the oldest daughter down in the basement, pulled the heat out and said he was going to shoot her then himself. House was surrounded by cops and they had an actual stand off for hours. Eventually he let his daughter go but shot himself in the head. That's the first funeral I remember going to.
2nd Long story short:
One of the wife's best friends had a husband that was crazy. nikka was cheating, verbally abusive, at times physically abusive. Call him John He had a switch though. The public persona was completely different. Being how close the wives were I made an effort to be cool with the guy and he would even confide in me at times. Wife's friend got cancer. I eventually stopped cause this nutty nikka slapped his wife while she was essentially bedridden from cancer. Would tell her if she made him mad he'd just stop giving her her meds and watch her die. But I still always showed him respect, didn't treat him like anything different, in part because I knew that if he found out I knew what was going on behind closed doors he'd take it out her. Well after about 3 years she sadly passed away.
So we had/have another good friend. Female but she was the wife's friend first. Lets call her Anna. Anna got kids and wants love and is legit attractive but has been twice divorced both times to just not good men. Well Anna didn't know John or his wife like that and they started kicking it at one of my anniversary parties and ended up dating. I try to keep business in house but wife and I both tried to warn Anna that dude was trouble but she ignored it and did her own thing. Again at surface dude is a completely different person. Dresses well, always in the gym, etc. Looks like a catch.
Of course after some time the crazy starts coming out. They buy a house together even though the nikka ain't got a job and she makes bank, he convinces her to put it in both their names. They move their kids in together. And the nikka starts trippin. Controlling her moves and all that. Talking crazy to her and the like. She starts talking about leaving. Then one day we get a call in the middle of the night and she's locked herself in the bathroom terrified cause the nikka busted her door down (guess she put him out the bedroom) and was yelling about how he was gonna tell the world all her personal business and beat her ass and all sorts of stuff. I said naw I ain't going over there. Call the police. Cause either I'ma have to be willing to shoot this nikka or get hurt myself cause homie is definitely bigger and stronger than me. And oh yea his youngest daughter is my goddaughter and essentially the other two were as well. I ain't wanna shoot their daddy.
Fast forward a lil bit. She finally breaks free from dude and we let her and her 2 daughters come live with us while she's figuring out next moves. Wife and I leave town for vacation. Get a call one morning saying that this nikka showed up drunk at my front door yelling for Anna to come outside the night before. AND my niece/goddaughter who is good friends with Anna's youngest daughter was spending the night. I called him up and told him that even though I'd always showed him respect if he showed up to my house again without my permission it was gonna be consequences and repercussions. Ain't heard from him since then.

If this happens to a sister or niece of yours..let's see how strong that "wait for police mentality works. The whole situation is very weak. If I go to a spot where it's out of control..they won't see me coming and I'm definitely shooting who needs to be shot. Aint no scare tactics or any of that goofy white boy thought process.
Would I do this for an associate? No. Blood? Of course because they have no idea how much they are in over their heads if I have to intervene.

It's a damn shame how Vernon Forrest died...made all that money...beat Shane Mosley. Went to the gas station for AIR or gas...they robbed him when he was with that kid he was mentoring...he chased them down and he didn't see the 2nd guy and was shot up like a animal. fukked up way to die.
