I used to like deadpool but it sickens me how Marvel did this huge ass push to make him a household name and pseudo-mascot for the company. Now I hate the sight or mere mention of the dude in light of the comics that fell to the wayside to make room for his 7th or 8th book.

Marvel: :gladbron: Hey, look! Its DEADPOOL! *holds up Deadpool deoderant*

People: :gladbron: Whooaaa look you guys(I also hate this "guys/you guys" shyt but we aint here for that)! It's DEADPOOL!!!!

You trend hopping fakkits never read a comic storyline in your life. .

The current Deadpool book is probably the best since Kelly's original run, but I would still agree. I'm just happy we got past that awful, awful Daniel Way era Deadpool.

Speaking of Deadpool, I thought the JK run was all right. :ld:

I only really liked him in the Cable/Deadpool series.

Not sure if unpopular but the X-Men movie franchise needs a massive gutting and reboot.

The last 2, First Class and DOFP, have been damn good. I expect the final one in this new trilogy to be the same.

Back in black was the best Spider-man arc of the past 10 years or so. He gave kingpin that work. One More Day fukked that up completely.

Snyder's Batman is Dope but there's something missing I can't put my finger on...

Tony Stark is a shytty character and Marvel should have let him drink himself to death so that Rhodey could have been the permanent Iron Man.

Cyclops is not now and has never been cool no matter how hard writers have been trying to make him a badass over the last 5-10 years.

I have always wanted Mr. Fantastic to be killed so that Namor could take his place in the FF.

Hal Jordan sucks.

I actually liked the Detroit Justice League and breakdancing stereotype Vibe.

DeadPool is a Spiderman and Deathstroke clone and I find his character annoying.

I hate keeping up with comic book storyline because of monthly rel3ases instead of weeklyones for a 23 page story

War of Kings was the last Marvel event that was entertaining.

I like the Marvel cosmic stuff more than they earth base storyline

Earth 2 and New Avengers are the best comic books out

There's only one spider-man movie I truly dislike and it's spider-man 3. I generally enjoy all of them for different reasons. I enjoy Amazing Spider-Man the most out of all of them though :whoknows:

I've got no problem with Marvel making Thor into a woman or anything else they do for diversity sake or storytelling. A lot of these characters were created in the 50s and 60s so there was no way they were going to make a black person a lead character. Nothing wrong with updating them to reflect 2014 and not 1964.

The Thor movies are massively meh

Iron Man 3 is dope

The Blade tv show was dope too

Spectacular Spider-Man is the best spider-man adaptation there is and the movies would do well to imitate them a bit more than they have.

The X Men cartoon from the 90s doesn't hold up

I prefer JMS' Spider-Man run to mostly anything Slott has done so far.

Batman is a tad overexposed but Snyder's version of the character is the best I've seen since the animated series

Tony Stark is a dikk. I love him though but man, he's a terrible character

Really interested in the new FF movie and hope it does really well

Wolverine is one of the greatest and most versatile characters ever created. There is literally not a story you couldn't do with him unlike almost every other major hero ever.

Wonder Woman is actually a very bad hero

I've always been meh on Spider-Man and think he's somewhat of a pathetic person. First thing he did when he got his powers was beat people up for money and cash in and it takes his loved ones actually dying for him to tighten up and get his shyt together

Nightwing is one of the greatest examples of character growth in comics

Cannonball is massively underrated as a character and hero

Reed Richards is the most important person in the Marvel Universe

Captain America gets a pass on so much bullshyt because the Marvel Universe as a fanboy crush on him

Nate Grey was a great character and comics are missing a quality psychic in a solo book like him

the 90s was overall a positive for the growth of comics. People try to draw a parallel with the influx of meaningless books to the downfall of the industry but really it was bad business practices and they use the content as a cop out.

Flash is the greatest hero in DC

He was a kid breh, what you expect

I can get with everything else you said though although maybe not entirely on that 90s thing. But even then you have a point

So many people would do that if they spontaneously got powers though, at least he didn't go full :demonic: with it.

I wouldn't even be trying to :cape: if I had powers.
