still :snoop: Mulder never fukked Scully even though she was down. That shyt looked mad incestuous :scusthov: the way they forced it at the end of the show. Guess Duchovny wasn't feelin Gillian Anderson :heh:

Mulder did hit that at least once... cant remember the epIsode or season... at the very beginning of the episode the camera cuts to mulder leaving scullys apartment early in the mornng while scully is getting dressed

@Monoblock

There's another funny story that ties into something you mentioned.

Back in the day before he blew up Vince Gilligan would sit around practicing his writing and watching "X-Files". This was before he worked on the show obviously.

Anyway, one of his close friends had a cousin that married Chris Carter, so Gilligan got to meet him.

During the meeting Chris Carter asked him "do you have any ideas for the show?". Gilligan nervously pulled an idea out of his ass "well....how about a guy has some kind of experiment go wrong, and his shadow becomes dark matter or a black hole or something, and kills people?"

Chris Carter: :krs: "that's awesome, you're hired!"

Vince Gilligan :wtf: "I'm hired?"

He didn't know it but his friend set that up as a job interview, not just a fan meeting Carter. Gilligan went home, turned that idea into the script for "Soft Light", and the rest is history.

I'm got two episodes left of season seven. Other, than when the Cigarette Man took Scully out to dinner to cun her, I find this season to be extremely cheesy and ridiculous :skip:

bad blood is one of the funniest spoof episodes in history of television.

x-files seasons 2-5 (I think, Ill need to re-check on 6) can go against a lot of top shows and hold their own

"Bad Blood" was also written by Vince Gilligan.

Season 6 was dope too. The last completely dope season. "Two Fathers" and "One Son" are some of the best mythology eps in the entire series. The first half of season 7 is dope too. 8 had a handful of dope eps, 9 was mostly :beli:

Props y'all. When I was a younger this show bugged me out, especially the devil child episode. This thread got me to start the series from the beginning. Probably like halfway through season 1 now. Just seeing some of the things they did with the limited cgi has me like :krs: at what would be possible today.
