Now I can respond.
The show falls off about half way through season 7. There was all kinds of behind the scenes shyt going on.
Chris Carter the creator kinda wrapped up the series between season 5, the movie, and season 6. All kinds of characters, story arcs, etc. were resolved. Then they got renewed for 3 more seasons.
You gotta understand man, at the height of it's popularity it pulled in 29 million viewers. It was the biggest show in the world at one point and Fox didn't want it to end.
So the wheels start to fall off mid-season 7. By season 9 it's
Before that though, you're going to see some of the most
TV in history. Someone said "X-Files" is top 10, I'd say it's top 5, even if it did fall off. The main reason is, it nailed every single genre it attempted, while maintaining 20+ million viewers. There's funny eps ("Bad Blood"), straight up drama with no sci-fi/supernatural stuff ("The Pine Bluff Variant"), horror ("Home"....and too many to name honestly), abstract/artsy ("all things")....the list goes on.
Along with this, you get a ton of classic characters. Some of the best villains in TV history. And if you're a fan of
moments and/or cliff-hangers....well, like I said the main guy behind "Breaking Bad" was a writer/producer on it. There's a fukk ton of
moments.
You're in for a treat breh.
Fred.
