Explain? How does this work? You get XP for just scanning planets??

Yes. You also get xp for surveying anything to 100% on a planet. You also get even more XP when you finish surveying the planet. Surveying planets is one of the fastest ways to level up because you get XP from the surveys and any fukkery you get into on the way to accomplishing that, which I guarantee you will it's impossible not too. As long as you aren't on a level 1 system when you are level 40 you'll level up pretty fast. The outer edges of the galaxy have some shyt bruh.

doing the ECS constant mission again and I totally forgot buying a grav drive was an option…I was probably too cheap to even consider it last time…I thought they only options were to sabotage the ship or convince them to work in order to stay on the planet…gonna buy the grav drive this time

…you get a free ship (star eagle) and it’s pretty damn good…it’s my favorite ship in the game…

“somewhat”…there was a lot of things I didn’t take my time and appreciate on the first playthrough and then I super-rushed on the 2nd one…this is me now understanding the game and the mechanics a whole lot better…there’s still some things that try my patience but there’s a lot of new things I’m seeing as well even in repeat missions
