I personally disliked FO4, it wasn't a horrible game but it didn't come close to fo3/new vegas for me, I know a lot of fallout fans who feel similar. I hope I'm wrong because I love scifi/space stuff, but I really believe Bethesda has been going the way of blizzard for a long time now.

For sure, FO4 having a mixed reception isn't exactly a new or rare thing. A lot of people have mixed options on it. Myself included. But I genuinely don't think a lot of people would say 3 is "miles ahead" of 4. New Vegas, of course. 3? Ehh, better in some ways and worse in others.
