I mean here goes big bad Microsoft looking out for the consumer base and sticking to what they said yet again.
Meanwhile random Stan's and ignorant folk arguing about the series s holding back current generation gaming while the PlayStation has a block buster exclusive game that Sony worked directly with that can't hold a solid 30fps and 1080p consistently.
At least wait until starfield and BG3 drops on PS5 before getting in your feels.

Because technically, they're screwing over the One X folk too by making them buy a new console for these 'next gen' games that are basically being developed for systems no more powerful than the one they bought last gen.
If devs are going to need to develop for this handheld parity to that degree, why even end last generation at all? Just have everything still developed for the last system too. Wouldn't that make your playerbase even bigger, since that's the whole point right?
People swear these are pro-consumer moves when they really aren't.
