That was originally written as a B movie sequal in case the original movie flopped. Very basic story. Luke and Leia land on a forest planet have run ins with locals fight Vader discover a magical crystal and escape.
Think that recent movie the rock did with ryan reynolds but with jedi. Red Notice in space

I read all them books when i was a kid too.. That was my least favorite out of all them. I loved them Timothy Zahn novels though. The Thrawn Trilogy
I still remember when racists thought Finn was going to be a Jedi and smash the white female so they began organising boycotts until they found out his actual role in the movie and stopped their boycott with the quickness

I have always thought a quiet place is a dumb movie.
That shyt sucked. I tried to rewatch it and couldn't get 10 minutes in.If we're being honest After Earth (2013) was everything y'all wanted Star Wars to be but you didn't support it.

M. Night sucks yes, but they could have gotten a better director for the sequel.
Hopefully Will Smith reboots the franchise. To leave all those plans on the table is a waste.
Hell, bring in John Boyega and give him a role worthy of his talents.
Speaking of the novels The Phantom Menace novelization was way better than the movie. I know you can't add the little nuances in the film like you can the book, but it was night and day between the quality of the book and film.
