Yep, OG starwars was a samurai western. Goat combo. Recent movies except the Mando tv show have steered away from that formulaStar wars came out with 3 classic movies to begin with. After Earth started out with one terrible one. Apples to oranges.
If you want a franchise you should make sure the introduction isn't terrible.
