Fair point, but that entire scene really made me cringe. There’s no redemption for this dude, the way he murdered his own father. So for him to “project” Han in his own mind as though...he were being forgiven...really bothered me.
It should've been Luke, who we know can do it. And we already knew Kylo was torn about having killed Han.
It also would've given weight to Luke telling Kylo "see you around kid", and when Kylo says he cannot be redeemed Luke can talk about Anakin or Anakin could've even shown up. Having Anakin there would in turn mirror Kylo talking to Vaders mask for three movies, who we now know was Palpatine talking back to him. And Anakin could also shed light on what Palpatine actually is in this movie, since we know he did really die so wtf is this thing.
Having it be Han instead of Luke or Anakin is a further example of JJ shytting on anything TLJ-related.
