If that laugh from Palpatine means what I think it means (that he’s coming back), then I just lost whatever interest I had in seeing this.

Say what you will about the Prequel Trilogy. They’re bad movies. But at least Lucas tried to introduce new concepts and didn’t just lazily fall back on rehashing the same plots and characters like this new trilogy did. I thought Snoke was bad enough as an obvious Emperor Palapatine rip-off, but I didn’t really think they’d go so far as to just bring the guy back…
