I follow that twitter account and every new post has me face palming lol. Still haven’t seen the movie yet but they’ve doubled down on destroying the franchise.

It still bothers me how Rey is being considered a Skywalker -- and people defending it. Unless Shim -- had relatives and Luke -- birthed children, the Skywalkers are DONE. Skywalker is a bloodline of three generation intricately interwoven through the patriarch -- Anakin. Its his actions and decisions which defined the choices of those who followed. Be it to oppose, redeem, admire or recreate him. Throughout this saga Rey's overall arc invalidates HIS story. If anything this saga has been about the masterclass of the Palpatine Clan. From the corruption of Anakin, subduing prophesy of alleged demise, corruption of Skywalker offspring (Ben), an ideological disconnect that contributes to multiple deaths -- Luke, Leia death comes at expense of ensuring Rey's survival. Who is ultimately revealed and elevated from nobody to granddaughter to daughter of Palpatine. Everything else I can pretend and let slide, not this. Chewie is more Skywalker than Rey Palpatine.
