I agree with everything except interracial relationship between Finn and Rey part.

There is a blatant bias in film where wm/bw are featured as a couple whereas bm/ww are not.

They've even written articles about it. I mean, look at I Robot or The Pelican Brief and a shytton of other movies where normally the male and female protagonist would get into a relationship, but because the woman was white, they didn't want to risk the ire of angry white men.

Contrast that with The Bodyguard where Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston's romance was the foundation of that movie. This ain't about PAWG lovers, this is about racial bias that goes hundred of years back (and was rekindled with D.W. Griffith's "Birth of A Nation").

White men love to portray themselves as Casanova to the general public, while most of what Fin did was yell 'REY!"

Trust I know what you mean probably more than anyone here. I just didn't Daisy Ridley enough to see her in a romantic relationships with anyone.

So does Palpatine have to tell every Jedi that if they kill him he'll possess their body in order for the transfer to work? Why doesn't he just shut the fukk up and let them kill him if that his entire goal? Rey was there to kill him and the only reason she didn't was because he did his strike me down speech. This nikka Sheev is a genius and a moron..

Aight....I seen it on Tuesday night

I accept this as the end of the Stars Wars that we know and love. I do not accept that this was a "good" movie. It is a convoluted mess that was brought on as a result of Rian Johnson's arrogance, which was fueled by Disney's ignorance and greed.

Rey is truly the last Jedi in the galaxy so "The Force" did what it needed to do in order to prevent the Sith from getting its payback.

I accept that. I guess.

If we had a 2nd movie that was cohesive and made sense, and even revealed Palapatine...this movie would be received a lot better

Instead it comes of as "Ok....fine fanboys..." when it's like yo...have some goddamn respect?? We made this shyt what it is...it would not be a multi-billion dollar property without people caring about it this much so have a care, and show those same people some respect.

No...we don't "own" the shyt but it's as much the "fanboys" as it is George Lucas's and now Disneys.

IMO, this is an example of corporate greed once again ruining a good thing and then that same corporate greed telling us we should be thankful they even released a product.

It's gross.

And it's especially gross when these three sequels have been a SJW wet dream, meanwhile none of the women or LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ are pointing how Finn was positioned in the advertising and all the trailers for this shyt as a Jedi and then becomes a sidekick who in the third movie just happens to be Force sensitive, which honestly felt more like fan service pittance than an honest attempt to give the character something beyond being a Stormtrooper who defected.

There have been strong women represented throughout this series

Black people?

- Mace Windu, most powerful lightsaber user and 2nd only to maybe Yoda, killed by Anakin
- Lando Calrissian, betrays Han Solo and is "redeemed" by helping in the 2nd movie even though he sold out Han, his "friend".

Prior to Finn, that's the totality of Black people in Star Wars. So no disrespect to women or gays, but fukk outta here.

You mean when the Jedi were being exterminated:gucci:

And they DID have a plan.... Obi wan was watching over Luke the entire time.:camby:
Exactly!

Obi-Wan AND Yoda were watching over Luke the entire time

"This one, a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away to the future, the horizon. Never his mind on where he was! Hmm? What he was doing. Adventure. Heh! Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless!"

The only person who didn't know about Luke and Leia was VADER because the Emperor told him that he killed his wife in anger and so he assumed his child (don't think he knew it was twins) was dead as well.

I'm pretty sure Palpatine knew

So maybe a star wars lore master can explain this to me....

Why was she able to shoot lighting, isn't that an sith exclusive ability...? And her being tempted by the darkside isn't a good answer.

The yellow light saber at the end was that her new one? If so come on movie...at least show how she acquired it

Are abilities pasted down through birth? If so why would Palpatine a master planner that is manipulating things from the shows for years have kids and just let them go on living where ever... knowing that one down the line will be force sensitive? The sit seem pretty dumb for bad guys... like if force is "bloodline" related then have kids and train force sensitive ones up from youth to be sith.

Why did Kylo fade away after giving force but rey didn't after a force nuke....?

Rey+lightning: dumb writing. Episode II/III/VI all made lightning out to be some next level shyt. Before Dooku does it he even tells Yoda "I have become more powerful than any Jedi". There is no good explanation for her being able to do half the shyt she does in this trilogy.

Yellow saber: she made it from her staff, assume she went and looked for a Kyber crystal.

Abilities: bloodlines can matter. The OGs established that the force was strong in the Skywalker family, so assume it's the same in the Palpatine bloodline.

Palpatine and his kids: again weird writing that seems dumb with the story we've been given.

Kylo fading away: assume the difference is simply that he truly died, whereas Rey was on the verge. She did have that the Jedi ghosts giving her powers so that might be how she hung on.

1. Sith lightning is technically a dark side ability and not sith I
believe. 3. Sometimes it it sometimes it isnt. Some sith do have kids but it doesnt sound as viable as you make it. Why not just find a force sensitive and train as usual. They are going to try and kill you regardless.

I bet the next movie is going to be about Ahsoka
That's what they should of done with this trilogy...
They wanted a strong female Jedi and literally had a female padawan of Anakin Skywalker who the fanbase loves who also happens to have an open ended timeline and they decided to give us Rey Palapatine...:what:

Anyways on the bootleg I watched I noticed they mentioned Darth Revan making him canon which opens the door wide open for KOTOR...

That is the only positive thing to come out of this dumpster fire trilogy and if anyone at Disney actually wants to save this franchise, the next trilogy must be KOTOR...
