Been telling cats for years this is the worst mainstream franchise in history. WOAT track record for quality, with the most die hard fans. Truly a bizarre combination.

The best movies were 40 fukking years ago. Prequels were trash. "Rogue One" was dope. "Solo" flopped. And this new trilogy is ass.

It would be like a TV series having 11 seasons, only 3 are great, and the fan base talks like it's "The Wire". shyt is mind boggling.

Prob will get hated on but I enjoyed it...far and away better then Last Jedi. People are acting like it game of thrones season 8 level of bad...it’s not that either.

Entertaining movie...granted, I went in with low expectations. There was some dumb stuff, but I love Ian McDiarmid as palps so seeing him kill it again was great and the call backs up to his great quotes were great too. Kylo was dope, threepio had some good moments, that brief moment of young Luke was piff. Plus, I loved JJ giving Luke a line basically saying his plot in the last Jedi was wrong.

Solid film, entertaining, doesn’t save the sequel trilogy but rises above the shytfest of last Jedi.

And also, have the first order on the RISE instead of just rehashing how they are on top. Have them be the underdogs in the first movie, rey joins halfway through/at the end of the second movie, where its thought of her being the last piece for them to overcome the republic or rebels or whatever they were. I dunno, just spit balling...and I enjoyed parts of 7 and 8....this is the best representation of this movie I saw, from entertainment weekly

This seems (at least based on Rotten Tomatoes so far) like it's going to be the opposite of the TLJ.

Critics liked The Last Jedi for the most part but fans hated it. Whereas with this, it seems like critics are bashing it but audiences think it's mostly decent.

Anakin had the most potential (his midochlorian count was said to be higher than Yoda's) but never lived up to it due to being crippled and stuck in a life support suit. Yoda was the actual most powerful Jedi during his time.
