He also says his role will be more physical in the next movie. Hopefully that will quiet the haters about his character.

Cool, I was worried he was gonna be sleep half the movie. :troll:

I have faith that Rian will make this a much more interesting character.

Lets be real. If I had told you BEFORE the movie that AFTER the movie.... most on twitter will assume he's in a gay relationship with Poe, will be mocked in countless meme's (no not for possibly being gay, but because he's a silly comic relief), and sort of running scared through most of it. No one would believe it..

JJ really went another direction with Finn...

Thankfully Rian can fix some of the issues. Its still a great idea. JJ just made things a bit tougher for him though..
So Boyega being put into carbon freeze to be rescued in part 9 from Jakku the hut...

finn bout to get frozen in carbonite :patrice:

aint they saying lando coming back in this one too? :francis: rehash.

Thats what I find interesting about the Han comparison. If they did indeed rehash the OT......Han became less interesting after the first movie. He was at his best in the first one. By the third he was :ld:.

Also people wanted to BE Han. I haven't heard too many young viewers wanting to be Finn :heh:

Maybe they are just doing the reverse if he is indeed the next Han. :manny:

But I believe they will do something different so I have faith...

The Force Awakens was like a pilot for the real show :ehh:

Han Solo turned it on once and he wasn't a believer in the force
I know thats kinda my point although he obviously became a believer as time went on but I keep hearing arguments on both sides never heard of someone trying to turn on a light saber and not being successful and also what about General Grievous

real nerdy here but they way they could explain is that you can turn it on but you can't really use it like a Jedi unless you are Force sensitive. Han used Luke's in ESB to cut open that animal but he didn't wield it like a Jedi. Light sabers wouldn't need that button if all you needed to do is use the Force to light it. The light saber is supposed to be heavy like a sword and can only be really used like Kylo, Rey and Finn used it in the final battle using the Force to hold it up and wield it like they did...

This doesnt make sense to me either my understanding is the heavy like a sword thing was the original premise but then they went away from this later.
