Rumored deleted scenes on the Blu-Ray :
Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Blu-ray Deleted Scenes list!

JB Hi-Fi has a listing for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Blu-ray with the cut scenes listed. Deleted Scenes are listed as follows:

  • Finn And The Villager
  • Jakku Message
  • X-Wings Prepare For Lightspeed
  • Kylo Searches The Falcon
  • Snow Speeder Chase
  • Finn Will Be Fine
If I had to guess the first scene with Finn and the Villager would be where Finn refuses to kill the family in Lor San Tekka’s village. Jakku Message might be when Poe calls the resistance base to let them know he has the artifact from Lor San Tekka and then radios them back its not going well or possibly the additional Kor Sella content. X-wings prepare for lightspeed sounds like the scene we heard about where Poe tells BB-8 to stand by and then all the ships take off to the Starkiller, maybe. Kylo Searches the Falcon sounds like the scene we heard about where Kylo boards the Falcon and then sits in the cockpit struggling with the shadows of his past. Snow Speeder Chase is probably the chase with a Stormtrooper and a speeder on the Starkiller base before Han’s demise and Finn Will Be Fine is likely when Finn wakes up at the end of the film.

The list sounds legit and probably accurate! Also remember that the Target version has an additional disc with twenty minutes of content on it too.

So...they couldn't even be fukked to show this dude waking up? They actually place the character in a coma at the end of the film...and don't bother to do ANYTHING at all with it? It was just to show that he's a loser?

Also, Daisy Ridley recently had an interview...



1) Rey Solo is *definitely* dead, for anyone still holding out some insane theory.

2) She basically jokes about Finn being Force Sensitive. I don't know how to take it, I think the theory is mostly dead though (Why would she be talking about it AFTER she's read the script if it were actually true). She's all sarcastic about it....

Yes, they left out the scene of Finn waking up because the intent was to make Finn look like a loser.

Assuming that's really one of the scenes...

This basically means that it wasn't even a cliffhanger. Like....it's just some random plot point that has zero effect on anything....:dwillhuh:

Explain to me why the co-lead waking up from a coma is a deleted scene....:laugh:

This is an actual Jobber Entrance. Dude is coming out after a commercial break, doesn't even get theme music....:lolbron:

You would really accept Finn waking up from a coma to be tossed aside as some sort of minor-event (And, the fact that the dude ends the film unconscious being just some minor plot point that didn't really mean anything)?

Like I said, I no longer think it's going to be that scene, but if it were, this would all but guarantee that Finn is basically an afterthought going forward.

The first rumoured titles for Star Wars Episode VIII are here and they’re pretty ridiculous

Shooting is now officially under way on Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Episode VIII, and the first rumoured titles for The Force Awakens follow-up have surfaced. Are they real? Time will tell on that front, but seeing as no one got Episode VIII’s title correct, chances are they aren’t!

The first comes from reddit where a poster claims to have seen promotional material for the planned title reveal on May 4th (which is of course better known as Star Wars Day).

They say that the movie will be titled Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple. That’s not bad, but it’s not exactly great! The next comes from a Croation Star Wars news website, and they claim that Episode VIII is going to be called Star Wars: The Order of the Dark Side. Of the two, that one is definitely the most believable, but take both with a pinch of salt for now!
