Boyega is trolling with this shyt. They hired new ladies for the flick specifically for him to simp over.

He's a dope actor and killed Episode VII, they just wrote him to be something other than what they promoted him as.

Imo the worst scene is him getting his card pulled by a random stormtrooper, what was the fukking point there? Especially because the previous scene built him up by having orange Yoda give him Anakin's lightsaber.

Rumor is it was one female and the role was reduced from what it previously was. The names thrown around (Gugu, Gina Rodriguez) got replaced by a reportedly newcomer.

It got tons of mainstream media attention, Boyega himself has commented on it TWICE, the director of 8 reblogged the fan-art on his twitter...

Look, I'll admit that I may be being a tad bit alarmist (:lolbron:)....but you can't deny that this shyt is a legit movement.

Powerful forces are converging to turn one of the few black male leads in a big budget franchise into a fruit-cup.

Fangirls and shippers =/= Powerful forces

Studio's appealing to fans. It's much easier generating buzz and getting everyone to see your movie when there's a chance they'll get what they want. Classic marketing tactics.

I will eat every neg if Finn turns to be gay, but it won't be the case.
