I think the response to this is worse than phantom menace and AOTC imo.
Phantom was shyt, AOTC was meh but they were not out of place in terms of the story.
Last Jedi just doesn't feel like a star wars movie and Awakens was a New Hope rip off. These two films haven't served the story at all.

before the movie everyone was expecting benecio to be some grand empire character but he came through acting like he was still playing a character from snatch lol.
